Lettuce (now called Santa) is a 1 year old lionhead crossbred, neutered and vaccinated and is being fostered by Alison (pictured) for now until she is able to integrate him with her existing females. He has beautiful blue eyes!
He has now been successfully integrated with an existing pair of neutered females and they are all getting on very well. He has found his new home! An Update from Santa (formerly Lettuce): Hello MairwenI just wanted to let you know how happy I am, thanks to you.I have settled in with my bunny companions, after a trip to the vet! I am very lucky to share a huge bunny shed with a 9’ x 9’ bunny run attached, with all sorts of toys for us all. Tinkerbell and Coco are old bunny ladies of 6 and a half years but they mother me, although I let them know who is boss. This morning they were lying on me so I emerged all crumpled and blinking when our Keeper arrived with carrot sticks at breakfast time! I make sure I am first out for the food bowl at night, and soon I will be very strong and they will be slimmer! When I met my new Keeper, she had two of us to choose from, but I made sure she chose me because I let her think I liked being picked up, and I fell asleep on her arm, dribbling with contentment. I haven’t done that since of course and I just wriggle and kick now – job done! I am a happy bunny so thank you MairwenFrom Santa |
