Hop Off the Press!
What's going on at Cottontails!

One of the Yucca's in the garden has decided to flower this year

All the rabbits that returned from our recent neutering run have recovered very well, with all three adult females having reserves on them already pending successful match-ups with lonely neutered males. Everyone seems to need females to go with lonely males at the moment! The six babies are all reserved apart from one brother/sister pair (Misty and Toffee), and I am hoping someone will take a liking to them sometime soon. Our other two adult pairs that are ready for adoption have not as yet had any interest, which is a shame as they are all really nice bunnies - perhaps next month will see them go to their new homes too. I have to start the usual round of re-coating the hutches, runs, aviary and giant bunny accommodation with wood treatment soon whilst the nice weather is still with us. As a result I will be trying not to take in any more bunnies (apart from the babies that are either booked to come in or are currently being fostered) until it is all done. It is also an opportunity to give all the equipment a really good clean and get on with all those little repair jobs that seem to be put on hold and never get done! |
