Until the current Coronovirus situation resolves and the veterinary services return to normal, we will continue using our OutReach “Virtual” Service to continue our rehoming work. This means that rabbits will continue to live in their current homes, and I will list their details on our Facebook page and here on the website and then pass on to the owners the details of any potentially good new homes that come forward. This service has worked well so far, with many animals successfully finding new homes, so although it is not ideal it does mean that our important work can continue. We will provide advice and offer nail clipping and grooming as before.
After discussion with our vet, we are hopeful that a neutering service will be available to the charity in the early part of 2021, so once this is established we will once again be able to take rabbits and guinea pigs for rehoming.
